CoalBucket.com > Happy Movies: Welcome to Page # Two!
Hi there, and you're very welcome to Page Two @ CoalBucket.com > Happy Movies!
Moving along ...
Every Which Way but Loose (Clint Eastwood)
This film...it really is quite hard to describe. Clint is having a tough time of things between work and what not. However he has a very good friend. A very close friend. Called Clyde.
Now this friend is in fact - an ape. Yes. 99% of reviews will focus on the ape! However there was also something about the truck they drove, it really is like a third actor!
This is not funny as in your sides are splitting and aching. It's more amusing then funny - but it's genuinely amusing if I can sort of convey that. They actually made several of these, if that's something to go by.
It certainly hit our happy spot!

Grease (Widescreen Edition) (1978)
Would you believe I was racking the brains trying to come up with another happy movie? "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" crossed my mind. Absolutely hilarious, but was it happy? Perhaps ...
What about a Walt Disney? Yes of course! Or Pixar...Shrek!
But then out of the corner of my mind it emerged like something that emerges very quickly and with great effect.
Grease! Gotte go for it!!

The Shawshank Redemption
Yes I know it's by no means happy all the way through...but the ending is just *so* uplifiting and brilliant I had to include it.
Trapped in prison, Timothy Robbins as Andrew Dufresne is the victim of the most corrupt prison officer you could ever possibly imagine. He has a good friend in prison, "Red", played brilliantly by Morgan Freeman.
Okay this is CoalBucket.com > Happy Movies right?
But I am sure you don't need me to tell you life is not always happy - indeed sometimes quite the opposite.
But all that matters is what happens in the end.
The tough bit is okay because of the end. And perhaps one day we'll realise it wasn't quite as bad as it seemed at the time.
I'll say no more and on that note, conclude CoalBucket.com > Happy Movies. Thank you very much for visiting!
