WE'RE SLASHING THE RESERVES ON GEO HOTEL DOMAINS!
After the Live Geo auction, we just have one name on auction at the moment, in the Silent auction.
Here are the details:
I want to thank the buyer of HotelPalmSprings.com who picked it up for $325 in the Live auction on Saturday. Here's why I think they got a bargain. With all the talk of type-in traffic, there is still the fact that - it's a name. I would say a hotel in Palm Springs could justify an expense of $950 or so very easily - they might go up to $2k or $3k - who knows?
Then you have some traffic. Okay it's light. But domainers, especially early start domainers, have had the great luxury of turning away sales leads! Some didn't even bother with names of at least fifty visits a day! This was because the opportunity was so vast, so who could blame them?
Turning to HotelMyrtleBeach.com. This name actually does around three times as well as HotelPalmSprings.com!
Over ten years, based on performance to date, I would predict 150-200 leads a year. That's 1,500 - 2,000 over ten years, or 3,000-4,000 over twenty years!
